This week...

-We played new shit from ANTI-MORTEM, CAGE THE GODS, CALIBAN, GRAND MAGUS, IRON SAVIOR, and more;
-I throw in my January 2014 Album Top 10;
-We pondered on the severe lack of judgement of Lars Ulrich's this past few years, and how his eccentric decisions lead to the total annihilation of the credibility of METALLICA's management-oriented decisions;
-I reviewed the band's abysmal "One" mash-up from the Grammys where they performed with a seriously out-of-place Lang Lang;
-I talked at lenght about how much the Grammy organization is absolutely and totally full of shit;
-IRON MAN drop in to discuss songwriting, their influences, how crappy VAN HALEN got over time, and the fact that they find "13" is a fair return to the market for SABBATH- they also throw in a bunch of rad tunes from BLACK SABBATH, THIN LIZZY, and DEATH ANGEL;
-I talk at length about how stunningly surprising the new ICED EARTH record "Plagues of Babylon" panned out to be;
-I question the sonic direction of the BLACK STAR RIDERS and ponder on the value of the decision to have Joe Elliott work alongside them in the studio this upcoming October;
-We check out a disastrous interview Kramer (AEROSMITH) did in an FM station to promote his new coffee roast and observe how daggers humour can be totally hilarious in how truly sad it is;

-We dived into OPETH's recent statements about the oddball direction of their upcoming record - specifically regarding the fact that it'll exploit "various new types of string arrangements" wrapped up in a signature DIO 80s type of heavy metal production - can one say WTF?;
